  1. Today I decided to take that big step..relaunching my website.  I will be honest, my website was just there.  I did not do anything with it and did not invest any time in it either.  It has not sold anything so far but this year with a renewed focus I am hoping that will change.

I signed up with Create last year but due to personal reasons I stepped away for a while.  It has always been a great platform to use but I probably did not use it to it’s full potential.  This all changed this year when I decided to change my life and what a great decision as at the same time Create launched these new templates.  I am in love with them.  I like the functionality of them and I can do so much more.

I am no computer genious but Create has designed these new templates and site builders which makes it so much easier.  The only thing is that there is not a button to say "It looks amazing! Great job". That is still a nerve racking experience as sometimes what you think looks great might not look great for someone else.   I do like the new look and feel of the site though.  Definately more in line what I think of for my brand.

Etsy has been my main platform I have sold from online. I did well in brick and mortar shops but I am hoping with the launch of this new site I can take it to the next level.

    What do you think?

  2. It has been so cold lately and to be honest it has been a very long time since I have seen so much snow down where I live.  I am slowly working on some new products for my shop.  Some items will be available on all platforms (my website, Etsy and All by Mama) but some will just be available here or here and All by Mama.

These adorable booties are made from a mix of alpaca and wool which is so nice and cosy.  I have started with 3 colours and come in sizes Newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months. A soft pink, cream and navy. They cover the ankles which I think are great so no fiddly buttons to struggle with.  What do you think?

These booties also remind me of the days when my daughter was small and all I could find was socks for her feet (the pre-knitting days) and somehow they would never stay on.  That is why I started knitting her her own when she was little.  The feedback from customers about these types of booties are that they actually stay on and works so well.

  3. Wow, we are already in to the second month of 2018 and this year we at Knitaboo have decided to take the bull by the horns and really focus on our business, our customers and what we can bring to the new mom, the gift giver and the family that has decided to adopt.

We will be adding new products on a regualr basis and we will work on faster processing times.

What plans do you have for 2018?  Where do you want to go this year?
